• AI-powered goal decomposition and task generation
• Personal Karma Ledger for behavioral tracking and insights
• Visual Kanban boards for task management
• Adaptive learning and personalized recommendations
• Productivity analytics and behavioral insights

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

5. User Content and Ownership

5.1 Your Content

"User Content" means any data, text, information, goals, tasks, notes, or other materials you submit, upload, or create through the Service. You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.

5.2 License to KarmaKanban

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, copy, and transmit your User Content solely for the purposes of:

• Providing and improving the Service
• Generating AI-powered recommendations and insights
• Analyzing patterns to enhance features (using aggregated, anonymized data)
• Ensuring technical functionality and security

5.3 User Content Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
• Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
• Your User Content does not contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material
• You will not use the Service to store or share confidential information belonging to others without permission

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

7. AI Features and Third-Party Services

7.1 AI-Generated Content

KarmaKanban uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI's technology) to generate recommendations, decompose goals, and provide insights. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or be inappropriate for your specific situation
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated recommendations
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• AI recommendations should not be considered professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)

7.2 OpenAI Integration

When you use AI features, your content may be processed by OpenAI. By using these features, you acknowledge that OpenAI's terms and policies apply to that processing. We encourage you to review OpenAI's terms at https://openai.com/terms.

7.3 Third-Party Services

Our Service may integrate with third-party services (authentication providers, analytics, etc.). We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its design, features, software, logos, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by KarmaKanban and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

9. Pricing and Payment

During the testing phase, KarmaKanban is offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans and pricing tiers in the future.

9.2 Future Pricing Changes

If we introduce paid features:

• We will provide advance notice of pricing changes
• Testing participants may receive special pricing or continued free access (at our discretion)
• You will have the opportunity to review and accept new pricing before being charged
• Failure to accept new pricing may result in reduced access to certain features

9.3 Refunds

If paid plans are introduced, refund policies will be clearly stated. Generally, subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in the applicable subscription terms.

10. Termination and Suspension

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. Upon termination, your User Content will be deleted according to our data retention policies.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if:

• You violate these Terms or our policies
• Your use poses security or legal risks
• We discontinue the Service or significant portions of it
• Required by law or legal process

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

KarmaKanban is a productivity tool and does not provide professional advice. AI-generated recommendations should not substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KarmaKanban and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content or activities
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
